Billy's genius and creativity eclipses the majority of scientists that exist in reality. Some of the devices he whipped up include the flying Volkswagon the Rad Bug, the communicators the Rangers used through Zeo, a hologram, a brain-switching machine, the Portal-Com, which penetrated both Rita and Zedd's Dark Dimensions… and that's merely the tip of the iceberg. And let's not forget his impressive vocabulary, memory, and the ease with which he masters new technology, and rises to new difficulties. It isn't a surprise that once the Power Coins were destroyed, and the teens turned to the Zeo Crystal for power, he was still useful as an assistant in the Power Chamber. Even discounting his service behind the scenes, Billy has the distinction of the longest-serving Mighty Morphin' Power Ranger: the Blue Ranger was on the team from their inception to their conclusion, and the Triceratops and Wolf Coins never changed hands. Of course, it would be difficult to try and fill his shoes.
